Androeceum or androecium?

Androecium in botany. Androeceum is not a botanical form, though the ending exists elsewhere.

Words of this shape do come both ways: museum and mausoleum keep -eum, aquarium and podium take -ium. Botany chose -ium for both floral whorls, which is why androecium and gynoecium rhyme on the page as well as in the mouth.
